Dr. Marut is a graduate from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA and earned his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Marut is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Laser Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Family Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, Oregon Dental Association, Southern Oregon Dental Society-Board Member and Member of the ADA Clinical Evaluator Panel. Dr. Marut has taken extensive continuing education courses, most recently specializing in Laser Dentistry and the treatment of adult periodontics (gum disease). He has always been active in community life, and has spoken at the local YMCA and local schools. Dr. Marut designed and sponsored a Toothsaver program for the Ashland Fire and Rescue and the Ashland School System. He has also lectured nationally and has been quoted in various dental journals. Dr. Marut is also the author of “Dental Update for Healthcare Professionals,” which is a monthly newsletter for local doctors. Dr. Marut is an avid outdoorsman and adventure athlete.
